Busquets was always lies in a debatable zone, that is, whether he's one of the best defensive midfielder of all time, or one of the most underrated footballer of all time. He could easily fit into those category however, as his outstanding qualities on the pitch is either clearly visible, or get easily overlooked all at the same time. It all depends on how you see the game in which he played, apparently. I was always mesmerized by how simple the game looks for him, all while being deployed in arguably the hardest position on the pitch. After further understanding it's all becoming clear, he's the only one who could do it. In a fast pace and physical environment in today's football, how could a guy with such physical deficiency thriving? Well, the answer is by having the most intelligent game IQ, technical proficiency, and greatest of all time passing abilities. Busquets is all of those things combined, that is why he's always becoming an integral part of the team, wherever he plays.
